Unit 1: Journey to Civilization
To begin the course, students are introduced to the game and are given their first opportunity to earn a badge. With the help of Google Earth they will claim a piece of land to start their colony. The supporting slides can be found below as well (click to open).
The following are tasks to be completed to assist the students when selecting their civilization location.
Remember, students have the opportunity to earn a badge by picking a strategic location.
